This sign is used to give advance warning of major long-term work sites on Level 2/3 Roads where there is a possibility that a traffic queue will form.
The distance shown is normally 1km Ie: the distance from the cone taper to the sign. If the queues form back to the sign then it needs to be relocated 1km further back and a distance of 2km placed on the sign
